Sales Manager EDM - APAC

Responsibilities

  • Directly sign key clients into target markets in APAC for our suite of products and services around E-Mail Marketing
  • Track record of selling EDM related products and services to SMEs and corporates
  • Be responsible for all elements of the sales cycle from initial (cold) call through to creating customized proposals to contract signing - including sales presentations as well as the ongoing strategic support of key clients
  • Work closely and collaboratively with our Client Services Reps in order to close new accounts and identify needs for up/cross selling products & services.
  • Be responsible to build up a sales pipeline and manage a sales cycle from prospecting to winning new clients.

Required Skills

  • Hunter´s genetics – strong outbound telephone and selling skills required
  • Excellent knowledge of EDM services, strategies, tactics and metrics
  • Experienced in outbound sales via Cold Calling and Social Selling
  • Demonstrable track record in developing relationships with direct advertisers
  • Fluent in English (spoken and written) mandatory
  • Highly effective in building relevant client contacts (CEO, CMO, Marketing Directors) but also capable to interact with Ad Operations teams (Campaign Directors, Analysts)
  • Strong influencing and negotiation skills and proven record of closing contracts within a certain timeframe

What will you do?

  • Prospect and Acquisition of cooperation partners and new customers
  • Active and independent customer needs analysis as well as advice on the implementation of e-mail marketing campaigns
  • Professional and intensive customer relationship management
  • Close cooperation with email campaign managers
  • Presentation of Audience Serv at trade fairs, conferences and networking events

Your qualification

  • You are strong in communication and presentation in English, German and or French
  • Able to prospect new client and make cold calling (Telemarketing background is a plus)
  • One of your character traits is a self-responsible and results-oriented hands-on mentality
  • You are distinguished by high initiative, organisational ability and commitment
  • Experience and competent handling of MS Office tools and a high web & online marketing affinity
  • You have sales experience and you enjoy personal networking, consulting and selling
  • You have experience in using a CRM system (Salesforce, etc.)
